About this guide

Scope: Cyberpunk 2077 base game, 2077 continuity. Spoilers: This guide discusses Act 1 and Act 2 missions, V’s apartment, Barry Lewis, Nibbles, the iguana, Coach Fred and several apartment-related progression changes.

Overview

Megabuilding H10: Atrium is the fast-travel and map label used for V’s residential megabuilding in Little China, Watson. It is V’s first permanent home, one of the earliest recurring locations in the story and a compact hub containing apartments, food stalls, a weapons shop, a training area, a drop point, a fast-travel terminal and several mission locations.

The word “Atrium” is slightly misleading if treated as the building’s formal name. The game uses Megabuilding H10 for the wider structure and Megabuilding H10: Atrium for the accessible entrance and courtyard area around the player’s apartment. H10 is larger than the small playable portion suggests. The accessible 2077 interior is a selection of floors, corridors and services rather than a complete simulation of every apartment and level in the building.

H10 also exists in the wider Cyberpunk setting. The 2045 tabletop-era version is described as a much more self-contained megablock, with a broader collection of businesses, institutional spaces and luxury accommodation. Those 2045 locations should not be treated as explorable areas in the 2077 video game.

Where H10 is

Megabuilding H10 stands in Little China, in Watson. Its exterior is a huge residential block marked with the identifier LC896, generally read as “Little China 896”. The building sits among Watson’s dense streets, elevated roads, small markets and industrial-residential architecture.

The building should be separated from nearby Watson locations such as:

These are nearby connections, not internal parts of H10.

The map’s Megabuilding H10: Atrium travel point brings V to the public courtyard and apartment access area. It does not represent every exterior road, the whole parking complex or all of the building’s fictional floors.

Where H10 is

Building hierarchy in 2077

The playable H10 layout is best understood as four connected zones:

Floors 06 and 09 are also represented by limited, mostly inaccessible corridors and minor loot areas. The source material describes two usable elevators, one linking the lobby to floor 07 and another connecting the apartment level to the parking structure.

Accessible floor directory

The parking structure is worth treating as a connected subarea rather than simply another basement. It has its own entrances and vertical circulation, and its street exits can be useful when approaching or leaving the building by vehicle.

Building hierarchy in 2077: steps

  1. 01
    Street and entrance area
  2. 02
    Parking structure
  3. 03
Floor 07 service and activity level
  4. 04
    Floor 08 apartment level

The entrance and atrium

The entrance is the first public-facing portion of H10. It contains a compact lobby, food vendors and the elevator route to the service level. The architecture presents the megabuilding as a functioning residential ecosystem rather than a conventional apartment tower. Residents can eat, shop, train and access basic services without leaving the building.

The atrium area is also the most useful arrival point for fast travel. From here, players can reach the elevator, the apartment corridors and the street-facing exits without crossing a large hostile zone or a long loading route.

Floor 07 service level

Floor 07 is H10’s practical hub. It has most of the useful gameplay facilities:

This floor is more important to gameplay than the entrance because several early side activities begin or conclude here.

Floor 08 apartment level

Floor 08 contains V’s apartment and the public corridor outside it. The apartment is not merely a decorative safehouse. It becomes a recurring location for story scenes, item storage, buffs, pet interactions, quest rewards and apartment customisation.

The fast-travel terminal is positioned close to V’s home. A drop point is also nearby, making the level useful for selling, storing and reorganising equipment between missions.

Parking levels

The garage levels are a practical connection between H10 and the surrounding streets. The lowest parking level has an elevator connection and a street exit, while the upper garage levels connect to a higher street route. The parking structure is not a major mission dungeon in the base game, but it is part of the building’s navigational footprint.

V

V rents apartment 0716 in H10 after the opening time skip. The apartment is the protagonist’s default home and remains available throughout the base game, regardless of life path.

H10 is also the base from which V can access the EZEstates apartment system after the appropriate story progression. CD Projekt Red introduced the apartment-rental system through the computer in V’s H10 apartment with the 1.5 update.

Barry Lewis

Barry lives in apartment 0613 on floor 07. His home is only fully accessible during the side job Happy Together. At the beginning of Act 2, NCPD officers Nadia Petrova and Juan Mendez can be found outside his door.

Barry’s apartment is deliberately cluttered, with discarded food containers, bottles, a bed alcove, bathroom and computer desk. A shard titled The MaxTac Way can be found inside.

Barry is not a general-purpose resident who can be visited freely from the beginning. His apartment becomes a mission space when Happy Together starts.

Robert Wilson

Robert Wilson runs 2nd Amendment, H10’s weapons shop. He is one of V’s earliest commercial contacts and is involved in:

Wilson’s shop is located on the service floor. The public-facing area is accessible, but not every apparent back room or shop space is a normal player-accessible interior.

Robert Wilson

Coach Fred

Coach Fred operates the fighting ring and training area on floor 07. He is associated with the Beat on the Brat questline and sells melee weapons.

His area includes a training bot and functions as both a combat activity location and a small vendor space. The ring is one of H10’s most recognisable landmarks because it turns an otherwise ordinary residential service floor into a place where residents can train and fight.

Nibbles

Nibbles is an optional cat who can become a resident of V’s apartment. The adoption opportunity is connected with the small side activity commonly referred to as Feed Teh Cat.

The exact availability and timing can vary with progression, but Nibbles is associated with V’s original H10 apartment rather than the later purchasable apartments.

A practical route is

  1. 01
    Complete Playing for Time.
  2. 02
Return to H10 and go to the corridor outside V’s apartment.
  3. 03
Find the cat-related interaction and the nearby bowl.
  4. 04
Obtain cat food from the required source.
  5. 05
Place the food and leave the area.
  6. 06
Return later to find Nibbles available for adoption.

The iguana

The iguana is another optional H10 apartment resident. Its acquisition begins during The Heist, when V encounters the iguana egg in Yorinobu Arasaka’s penthouse. The egg must be taken to V’s apartment and allowed to hatch over time.

This is easy to miss because the egg is not acquired through a conventional quest marker. Players pursuing apartment collectibles should inspect the penthouse carefully during The Heist and should not assume that the apartment’s animal residents are all obtained from Watson.

2nd Amendment

Status: Functional weapons shop

2nd Amendment is H10’s main gun shop and is run by Robert Wilson. It provides a convenient early-game source of firearms and ammunition. The shop is particularly useful before V has access to the larger network of Night City vendors.

Coach Fred’s fighting ring

Status: Functional combat activity and melee vendor

The ring is located on floor 07. Coach Fred sells melee weapons and oversees the early H10 stage of Beat on the Brat.

The area also contains a training bot. Players should not confuse this with a full boxing arena or a permanently repeatable combat simulator. Its main importance comes from the questline and vendor interaction.

Food vendors

Status: Functional consumable vendors

Food stalls appear on the entrance and service levels. They provide ordinary food and drink purchases, but should not be confused with a unique H10 restaurant or named major business. The sources identify the stalls as part of the building’s services without establishing a complete set of individually named vendors.

Drop point

Status: Functional item and money facility

A drop point is located near the apartment areas. It can be used to sell unwanted equipment and manage inventory without travelling to a dedicated shop.

Gym and exercise area

Status: Environmental and limited interactive facility

H10 presents a gym-like area around the service floor and fighting ring. It reinforces the building’s self-contained design and acts as part of Coach Fred’s combat environment. It is not a full gym minigame with a separate progression system.

The Rescue

Type: Main job Progression: Prologue

The Rescue is the first major mission associated with H10. V and Jackie enter the building to rescue Sandra Dorsett from scavengers. This is not a normal free-roam visit. The mission uses H10 as a hostile combat space and exposes parts of the building that are not ordinary public routes during exploration.

Once The Rescue is complete, the building becomes V’s ordinary home rather than a purely mission-based location.

The Gun

Type: Side job Location: 2nd Amendment

The Gun introduces Robert Wilson and gives V an opportunity to collect an early weapon. Speak with Wilson at 2nd Amendment and follow the objective to obtain the weapon.

Because the mission is tied to a shop interaction, it can be easy to overlook if you leave H10 immediately after story missions.

Beat on the Brat

Type: Side job and fighting questline Location: Coach Fred’s ring

The H10 encounter is the starting point for Beat on the Brat. Coach Fred introduces the boxing circuit and offers the first fight in the line.

Coach Fred’s H10 location remains useful even if V postpones the wider questline.

Happy Together

Type: Side job Location: Apartment 0613

Happy Together begins near Barry’s apartment in Act 2. The opening is time-sensitive in presentation, so players should not simply walk away and ignore the neighbours for a long period.

The job has different outcomes. The best-known positive outcome requires V to investigate the additional information and respond appropriately. Barry’s apartment itself is mission-only in normal play.

The safer approach is

  1. 01
Notice the NCPD officers outside Barry’s door.
  2. 02
    Speak with them.
  3. 03
Knock on Barry’s door and talk to him.
  4. 04
Listen to his concerns rather than ending the conversation quickly.
  5. 05
    Investigate the requested information.
  6. 06
Return to Barry and choose dialogue carefully.
  7. 07
    Follow the final objective promptly.

Human Nature

Type: Side job Location: H10 and nearby streets

Human Nature begins when V’s vehicle is involved in an incident after leaving the apartment. The H10 connection is primarily the starting and return context rather than a complete mission dungeon inside the megabuilding.

Playing for Time

Type: Main job Location: H10 and wider Watson

Playing for Time returns V to the apartment and establishes the post-prologue structure of the game. It is also an important threshold for several apartment-related systems and optional interactions.

After this point, players should revisit H10 to check:

Shoot To Thrill

Type: Side job Location: H10 and Wilson’s shop

Shoot To Thrill is connected with Wilson and his shooting competition. Its availability depends on story progression and the relevant interaction at 2nd Amendment.

Because the mission is tied to an ordinary-looking shop, players should revisit Wilson periodically rather than assuming that every H10 activity appears immediately.

---

V’s apartment functions

V’s H10 apartment is the main persistent home in the base game. It provides:

The apartment’s practical buffs depend on the installed game version and update state. Modern versions provide apartment interactions such as Rested, Refreshed and Energized effects through sleep, showering and coffee-related actions. The apartment system and its shared-stash function were expanded through later updates, so players using an older release may see fewer interactions.

Missable or progression-sensitive content

Nibbles

Nibbles requires a return to H10 after the relevant Act 2 progression and a separate food-related interaction. Do not expect the cat to appear during the opening hours of the game.

Iguana

The iguana depends on collecting the egg during The Heist. This is the more missable of H10’s apartment residents because the opportunity occurs away from Watson and is not presented as an obvious apartment collectible.

Barry’s apartment

Barry’s apartment is accessible for Happy Together but not generally as a freely explorable residence. Complete the side job while it is active if you want to inspect its interior and collect the shard.

Apartment memorabilia

V’s apartment changes in response to story and side-job progress. Some objects appear because of quest outcomes, while others are connected to collectible systems or optional character events. Do not treat a missing decoration as proof that a quest is unavailable. Some changes occur only after leaving and returning to the apartment.

---

Ordinary security

H10 is normally a civilian residential location. There is no permanent gang-controlled combat encounter on the service floors in ordinary free roam. Residents, vendors and police-related characters appear according to time, mission state and local activity.

During The Rescue, however, H10 becomes a hostile mission space occupied by scavengers. This is a progression-specific state and should not be confused with the building’s normal security condition.

Environmental hazards

The building’s main dangers are practical rather than systemic:

The visually prominent central atrium or lower courtyard cannot be treated as a normal additional free-roam floor. Some areas can be seen from balconies or through architectural openings without having a supported player route.

---

For a first thorough visit, use this order:

---

Environmental hazards: steps

  1. 01
Start at the Megabuilding H10: Atrium fast-travel point.
  2. 02
Walk around the public entrance and note the food vendors.
  3. 03
Take the elevator to floor 07.
  4. 04
Visit 2nd Amendment and speak with Robert Wilson.
  5. 05
Find Coach Fred’s ring and inspect the training area.
  6. 06
Check the food stalls and nearby apartment corridor.
  7. 07
Locate Barry’s apartment, but do not expect normal entry unless Happy Together is active.
  8. 08
Use the elevator to reach floor 08.
  9. 09
Enter V’s apartment and inspect the stash, computer, wardrobe and displays.
  10. 10
Check the corridor outside the apartment for the cat-related interaction.
  11. 11
    Visit the drop point.
  12. 12
Take the elevator to the parking structure and identify both street exits.
  13. 13
Return to H10 after major story missions to check for new apartment changes.

Named H10 locations and facilities

Named characters associated with H10 in 2077

Named missions and activities

2045 continuity directory

These names belong to the tabletop-era description of H10 and are not confirmed as explorable businesses in the base game’s 2077 version:

The 2045 material describes H10 as having a much broader vertical social hierarchy, from cube-style accommodation through conapts, studios and luxury suites. This is a separate continuity and layout state, not an expanded playable floor plan in Cyberpunk 2077.

---

H10 is a strong example of Night City’s megabuilding concept. It is not simply a tower containing apartments. It is designed as a self-contained ecosystem with food, commerce, exercise, entertainment, parking and social life stacked into one structure.

The 2045 version makes this hierarchy explicit, with poorer accommodation at lower levels and luxury spaces above. The 2077 game shows only part of that system, but the distinction remains visible in the building’s design and the contrast between public service corridors, ordinary flats and the inaccessible upper areas.

Is Megabuilding H10: Atrium the same thing as V’s apartment?

No. Megabuilding H10 is the building, while Megabuilding H10: Atrium is the map and fast-travel label for the accessible atrium area. V’s apartment is one unit inside the building.

Where is V’s apartment?

V’s apartment is on floor 08, generally identified as apartment 0716. The apartment becomes available through the opening story progression.

Can Barry’s apartment be entered whenever you want?

No. Barry’s apartment, 0613, is primarily accessible during Happy Together.

Where is Wilson’s gun shop?

2nd Amendment is on floor 07, the service level. Robert Wilson runs it.

Where does Coach Fred fight?

Coach Fred’s fighting ring is also on floor 07, near the training area and service-floor vendors.

How do I get Nibbles?

Return to H10 after the relevant Act 2 progression, investigate the cat-related interaction outside V’s apartment and provide the required food. Nibbles can then move into V’s apartment.

Can I enter all of H10’s floors?

No. The game presents selected playable areas. Some floors have locked doors, minor loot or visible architecture without a complete player route.

Is H10 in Northside or Little China?

The building is generally identified as being in Little China, Watson. Some map guides place the fast-travel point within Watson’s broader Northside grouping. These are different levels of geographic classification, not necessarily a contradiction.

Can I buy another apartment from H10?

In updated versions of the base game, V can access EZEstates from the H10 apartment computer after the relevant story progression. H10 remains V’s original apartment and the main home for its unique memorabilia and pet-related changes.
