About this guide

Scope: Cyberpunk 2077 with the Phantom Liberty expansion, using the location name shown on the world map. Status: This guide is based on the verified, publicly documented content available for the area. The exterior parking lot and the underground garage are treated as related but distinct spaces. Spoiler warning: The access route is part of the opening Phantom Liberty main job, Dog Eat Dog. The item section contains missable loot spoilers.

Overview

Stadium Parking is a small Coastview location outside the EBM Petrochem Stadium in Pacifica. In the base game, it is an abandoned surface parking area beside the unfinished stadium. With Phantom Liberty installed, it becomes the approach to one of Dogtown’s hidden entrances and the starting point for the game’s underground infiltration route.

The name is easy to misunderstand. Stadium Parking is not the whole EBM Petrochem Stadium complex, and it is not the same thing as the stadium’s black-market interior. The exterior lot sits in Coastview, on the Night City side of the Dogtown border. Beneath and around the stadium is a much larger, mission-linked underground parking structure, divided into labelled sectors such as 1A–9A and 1B–8B. That garage is reached during Dog Eat Dog, but it should be regarded as a connected mission space rather than silently folded into the surface lot.

Location and boundaries

Stadium Parking lies on the northern side of the EBM Petrochem Stadium, in Coastview. It is part of Pacifica rather than a separate district. Dogtown begins across the controlled boundary, but the parking area itself is presented as the Coastview side of the approach. The Pacifica fast-travel listings place Stadium Parking and Metro: Stadium in Coastview, alongside locations such as Grand Imperial Mall, Batty’s Hotel and Pacifica Pier.

The location’s practical boundary is the abandoned open lot around the fast-travel dataterm and the nearby single-storey structure containing the dropbox. The stadium wall forms the obvious western and southern reference point, while the fenced border and security presence mark the route towards Dogtown.

The stadium itself is described as a derelict former sports venue in Dogtown. Its exterior northern parking area remains in Coastview, while the southern stadium entrance and black market are inside Dogtown proper.

Geography and atmosphere

The surface lot is deliberately unglamorous. It is a broad, neglected area of broken tarmac, abandoned vehicles, concrete barriers and fencing, placed beside a stadium that never fulfilled its intended purpose. Its role is less that of a conventional car park and more that of a neglected border zone.

The environment changes sharply once V enters the garage. The underground route is a vertical industrial maze of parking decks, concrete supports, ramps, wrecked vehicles and exposed structural gaps. The garage is labelled by sectors, with the documented layout using A and B sections. The player sees these markings on pillars and walls while moving through the mission area.

The garage also has an environmental-storytelling function. Smuggled goods have been hidden in abandoned vehicles, and the sector labels make the space feel like an old logistical network rather than a simple combat arena.

These are functional area labels rather than separate map locations or independently fast-travelled subareas.

Access and routes

Reaching the surface lot

The easiest way to reach Stadium Parking is to select its fast-travel point once it has been discovered. It is listed as a Pacifica, Coastview fast-travel location. The nearby Metro: Stadium point is separate, so discovering one does not necessarily mean that the other has been activated.

From the city side, follow the roads towards the EBM Petrochem Stadium. The Stadium Parking dataterm is on the northern side, outside the main stadium market. The lot is also a useful approach point for players travelling towards the Dogtown border.

Entering the underground garage

The garage entrance is not an ordinary free-roam entrance in the same sense as a public car park. Its principal intended use is during Dog Eat Dog, the opening Phantom Liberty main job.

The mission begins with V travelling towards the Dogtown border and meeting Songbird. She then directs V towards the old parking-garage entrance. The player can enter the restricted route by sneaking past BARGHEST or by fighting through the guarded area.

Recommended route

  1. 01
    Travel to Stadium Parking.
  2. 02
Save before beginning or continuing Dog Eat Dog.
  3. 03
Explore the surface lot and inspect the surrounding structures.
  4. 04
Follow Songbird towards the old parking-garage entrance.
  5. 05
Before descending too far, scan the smuggler’s map.
  6. 06
Note the marked sectors, particularly 3A, 3B and 6B.
  7. 07
Search the garage methodically rather than following the objective immediately.
  8. 08
Collect the marked caches before taking the route onward.
  9. 09
Leave the garage only after checking the relevant sectors.

Security and factions

The exterior lot and the nearby Dogtown entrance are patrolled by BARGHEST, the paramilitary force controlling Dogtown under Kurt Hansen. The patrols are part of the border atmosphere and become a direct gameplay obstacle during Dog Eat Dog.

The garage is not a neutral public facility during the mission. BARGHEST occupies the restricted route, and V can choose between stealth and direct combat. The available evidence supports those two broad approaches, but does not establish a permanently repeatable faction activity or a free-roam enemy reset system specific to Stadium Parking.

Facilities and services

Fast travel

Stadium Parking is a permanent fast-travel dataterm in Coastview. It is one of the listed Pacifica fast-travel points and is useful for returning to the stadium area after the opening Phantom Liberty sequence.

Dropbox

A dropbox is located on the corner of a small, single-storey building in the parking area. It is a functional inventory and selling facility rather than merely decorative scenery. The location page identifies it as one of the parking area’s points of interest.

Metro connection

Metro: Stadium is nearby but separate. It is listed as its own Coastview fast-travel location and should not be treated as part of Stadium Parking itself.

Dog Eat Dog

Dog Eat Dog is a Phantom Liberty main job given through Songbird. Stadium Parking is important because it provides the approach to the concealed garage route into Dogtown.

Once V reaches the garage, the mission becomes a mixture of infiltration, traversal and combat. The route eventually leads into the wider EBM Petrochem Stadium complex and the Dogtown black market.

Mission rewards and special items

The mission documentation lists experience, Street Cred and several items, including missable rewards. The most important location-specific opportunities are inside the underground garage rather than the surface lot.

The mission notes identify the Perk Shard, BARGHEST helmet and Cyberware Capacity Shard as missable. The 1A/3A discrepancy is worth highlighting: the scanned map marks sectors 3A, 3B and 6B, while the documented item notes place a Perk Shard in 1A and describe it as likely intended for 3A. Treat the vehicle and sector markings as the safer guide in-game rather than relying on the map alone.

Other possible loot

Community reports describe additional containers in sectors such as 7B, including clothing and melee equipment. These reports are not supported by the strongest available reference material, so they should be treated as supplementary exploration tips rather than a verified fixed inventory. Do not confuse reported random or incidental loot with the documented caches above.

Missable-content checklist

Before leaving the underground garage during Dog Eat Dog, check:

The safest approach is to make a manual save before descending in the lift. The documented mission notes state that the caches cannot be accessed after leaving the area, making this a genuine missable sweep rather than ordinary respawning world loot.

Nearby connections

EBM Petrochem Stadium

The stadium is the dominant landmark. Its interior contains the Dogtown black market, where V can later find vendors and services including weapons, clothing, medicine, cyberware, food, netrunning services and junk trading. Those vendors belong to the stadium’s interior and should not be counted as Stadium Parking facilities.

Dogtown border

The parking area is associated with one of the approaches into Dogtown. The location is therefore useful as a staging point even after the opening mission, but access to the wider Dogtown area depends on the Phantom Liberty progression state and the player’s route through the expansion.

Metro: Stadium

The Metro: Stadium point sits near the stadium but is a separate transport location. It is useful when approaching the complex from the wider city and should be activated independently if completion or fast-travel collection matters.

Residents, characters and ordinary NPCs

No permanent named resident is documented as belonging to Stadium Parking itself. During Dog Eat Dog, Songbird is the important story character associated with the route, while BARGHEST personnel act as guards and enemies.

Named stadium vendors such as Herold Lowe, Eron Acedo, Saki Seo, Sammy Taylor and Sophia Dupont belong to the EBM Petrochem Stadium’s black market rather than the surface parking lot. They should not be listed as Stadium Parking residents or services.

Lore and environmental storytelling

The parking route reflects the stadium’s history as an abandoned infrastructure project. EBM Petrochem Stadium was intended to support Pacifica’s transformation into a resort district and was associated with the Night City Nighthawks. It remained unfinished and later became part of Dogtown’s illicit economy.

The stadium’s backstory is reinforced by the contrast between the failed public project above ground and the hidden smuggling infrastructure below it. The garage’s abandoned cars, sector markings and scattered caches suggest that the structure was repurposed as a covert supply route into and out of Dogtown.

The stadium has also been compared with Eagle Rock Stadium from Cyberpunk RED, although that is a separate continuity reference rather than an in-game location identity. The EBM Petrochem Stadium name and its Nighthawks history belong to the 2077 setting.

Base game and expansion differences

Base game only

Without Phantom Liberty, Stadium Parking is primarily a Coastview landmark and fast-travel point beside the stadium. The Dogtown infiltration route, Songbird sequence and mission-specific garage caches are not available.

With Phantom Liberty

Dogtown is an expansion district associated geographically with Pacifica, but its content is not part of the base-game Pacifica progression.
