About this guide

Scope: Cyberpunk 2077 base game, including the location as it appears in the main game and its associated side job. Phantom Liberty content is not required here. Spoiler warning: This guide discusses Johnny Silverhand, Rogue, the side job Blistering Love, and the Tarot graffiti at the theatre.

Overview

The Drive-In Theater is an abandoned outdoor cinema in North Oak, a sub-district of Westbrook in Cyberpunk 2077. The site is formally associated with the Silver Pixel Cloud, an old drive-in cinema that has been left to decay on the wealthy hills above Night City. It is best known as the setting for the side job Blistering Love, in which V takes Rogue to the theatre while Johnny Silverhand attempts to reconnect with his former partner and friend.

Although the map labels the fast-travel point simply Drive-In Theater, the location is more than a single screen. It includes the entrance road, a locked access building, the outdoor parking and viewing area, the large projection screen, the projection booth, storage and maintenance spaces, and the area behind the screen where one of Night City’s Tarot murals can be found.

The theatre belongs to North Oak, not Japantown, Charter Hill or the whole of Westbrook. Other North Oak locations, including Kerry Eurodyne’s residence, the Columbarium and the North Oak sign, are separate places and should not be treated as subareas of the cinema.

What belongs to the Drive-In Theater

The following features should be treated as part of the theatre site:

The map’s fast-travel listing identifies the place as Drive-In Theater, while lore-oriented material gives the broader venue name as Silver Pixel Cloud.

What does not belong to it

Several nearby North Oak locations are separate places:

They may be visited on the same drive and appear close together on the map, but they are not subareas of the Drive-In Theater. North Oak’s other fast-travel points are listed independently from the theatre.

The Shinto Shrine is a nearby North Oak place of worship rather than part of the cinema grounds. It should be kept separate when describing the area.

Reaching the location

The simplest route is to select the Drive-In Theater fast-travel point if it has already been discovered. Otherwise, travel north through Westbrook and follow the roads into North Oak. The area’s road layout is less dense than Japantown’s, with broad bends and uphill approaches.

The theatre is also visited directly during Blistering Love, where the mission marker leads V and Rogue to the site.

A practical exploration route is

  1. 01
Begin at the North Oak road network or the Drive-In Theater fast-travel point.
  2. 02
Follow the entrance road towards the cinema gate.
  3. 03
Inspect the locked entrance and the nearby computer.
  4. 04
Enter the access code if you want to explore before starting the related mission.
  5. 05
Walk across the viewing area towards the screen.
  6. 06
Search behind the screen for the The Lovers Tarot graffiti.
  7. 07
Climb or enter the projection facilities.
  8. 08
Leave by the main entrance and continue towards the Columbarium, North Oak Sign or Kerry’s residence.

Opening the entrance

The main door is locked during free roam, but it can be opened with the code 0000. A nearby computer contains messages that reveal the code. Guides also report that the door can be bypassed through movement abilities such as double jump, although entering the code is the intended straightforward solution.

Access methods

The computer’s message is useful if the player wants to solve the entrance without looking up the code. The game’s security is deliberately weak, making the four-zero combination one of the location’s small jokes.

Silver Pixel Cloud

Silver Pixel Cloud is the name associated with the drive-in cinema. In the game it is not presented as an operating commercial venue. The site is abandoned, and there is no verified ticket booth, concession service, shopkeeper or usable cinema business.

In wider Cyberpunk material, Silver Pixel was a corporation that operated the cinema as a facility showing current releases and older classics. The venue is associated with Milagro Terrace in lore material and is placed in North Oak, Westbrook.

Named directory: businesses and facilities

The last three entries are functional parts of the theatre rather than separate businesses. No verified independent shop or service operates on the premises.

Projection booth

The projection booth is the most important interior space. During Blistering Love, V must reach it and start the film. The booth provides the mission’s transition from travelling with Rogue to the more intimate conversation involving Johnny.

Outside the mission, the booth remains an exploration feature, but it does not become a repeatable cinema service or activity.

Screen and viewing area

The large screen faces the former parking area, where customers would once have parked vehicles to watch films. The space is now empty and weathered. The screen also provides a useful orientation point: if the player has entered through the main door, moving across the viewing area towards the screen leads to the mission-critical buildings and the Tarot location.

Blistering Love is the Drive-In Theater’s main story association. It is a Johnny Silverhand side job involving Rogue.

The mission follows the earlier development of Johnny and Rogue’s relationship and requires V to arrange an evening with Rogue on Johnny’s behalf. The theatre is the destination of their date.

Requirements and progression

The mission is tied to the Rogue branch of Johnny’s side-story progression. In practical terms, the player must advance Johnny’s related missions far enough to unlock Blistering Love. The preceding Rogue storyline includes Chippin’ In, after which V can contact Rogue and arrange the date.

Powerpyx’s walkthrough identifies the mission’s sequence as calling Rogue, meeting her at the Afterlife after 8 pm, driving to the Silver Pixel Cloud Drive-In, opening the theatre and reaching the projection booth.

Walkthrough

The mission guide confirms the objective sequence of entering the theatre, reaching the projection booth, searching storage and taking the pills.

Walkthrough: steps

  1. 01
Speak with Johnny. The conversation develops Johnny and Rogue’s history and moves the mission forward.

Mission-specific access

The theatre can be explored before the mission by using the code, but the projection facilities have their clearest narrative purpose during Blistering Love. The mission does not turn the location into a permanent social venue. Once the mission is complete, the cinema returns to being a quiet exploration site.

The Drive-In Theater contains the Tarot graffiti for The Lovers, one of the major Arcana murals associated with the Tarot Card activity.

The mural is located behind the large cinema screen. It is easy to miss if the player focuses only on the entrance, projection booth and mission objectives. PC Gamer’s Tarot guide identifies The Lovers as being behind the big screen at the Silver Pixel Cloud drive-in in Westbrook’s North Oak.

How to collect it

The card can be collected during free roam or while visiting for Blistering Love, provided the player reaches the rear of the screen. The Tarot mural is fixed content, not a random encounter or procedural placement.

Named directory: collectible

The Tarot activity later connects the collected cards to Misty’s Esoterica in the story. The theatre itself does not provide a separate reward chest or vendor reward for scanning the mural.

---

How to collect it: steps

  1. 01
    Enter the theatre grounds.
  2. 02
    Move towards the large screen.
  3. 03
Walk around to the rear side of the screen.
  4. 04
    Scan the Tarot graffiti.
  5. 05
Confirm the scan to add The Lovers to the Tarot collection.

Story-associated characters

V and Rogue physically visit the cinema during Blistering Love, while Johnny’s presence is central to the mission’s purpose and dialogue. Rogue should be treated as a mission visitor rather than a permanent resident of North Oak or the theatre.

The theatre is associated with

Residents and visitors

No permanent resident, named caretaker or business operator is verified at the Drive-In Theater in the base game. The site is not populated like a market, bar or residential building.

The absence of ordinary crowds is part of the location’s presentation. It is a derelict venue in an expensive district, rather than an active public attraction. Random pedestrian or ambient traffic in the wider North Oak area should not be mistaken for theatre residents.

---

The Drive-In Theater has no verified permanent faction occupation, hostile gang presence or formal security checkpoint.

The locked entrance is an environmental access barrier, not evidence of active guards. No named security force operates the site as a regular facility. During the relevant mission, the location functions as a quiet private destination rather than a combat arena.

This does not rule out every possible ambient NPC or game-state variation, but no fixed enemy group or boss is supported by the researched location guides.

---

The theatre is part of the northern Westbrook road network. It is close enough to several North Oak landmarks to form a useful sightseeing loop, but those places retain separate identities and map entries.

Suggested North Oak loop

For a broad tour of the surrounding sub-district:

The fast-travel directories list the theatre, Columbarium, North Oak Sign, Kerry’s residence and Arasaka Estate as separate North Oak points.

---

The abandoned cinema’s name is Silver Pixel Cloud. Lore material describes it as a Silver Pixel corporation facility that showed new films and popular classics. It appears in both Cyberpunk RED material and Cyberpunk 2077, but these are separate continuities and should not be treated as one identical playable location across every source.

Within Cyberpunk 2077, the venue’s most important thematic function is its connection with old films, memory and Johnny’s past. The ruined cinema provides a deliberately private setting for Johnny and Rogue, contrasting with the busy nightlife of the Afterlife and Japantown.

The location also echoes a real-world drive-in cinema layout: a large screen, projection building, vehicle viewing area and service spaces. That general architectural resemblance is a genre and building-type reference, not evidence that the game reproduces one specific real cinema.
